Maritime law/Jones Act

Attorneys, we can provide investigation and research for your case. We work with a number of firms on areas including defending maritime claims, compliance and workers' rights' issues. Green Ray Marine Solutions also specializes in the evolving arena of company liability against pirate attacks upon their crew members. Now, seafarers are going after their employers, alleging that they are not being provided adequate self-defense measures in high risk areas. Operators: are you prepared to deal with this?

Vessel Security Plans
Whether your vessel must meet the requirements of the new Coast Guard anti-piracy plan regulations, ISPS and MTSA, Green Ray Marine Solutions can help. Together with M-P.A.C.T., our security consultant partners, we stand ready to address all of your concerns. From the initial formations of vessel or ship security plans, all the way through the full implementation of those plans,  we can show you how to operate in a cost effective manner, not only helping you to meet regulations, but helping you in a way that reflects industry best practices.

We fully satisfy - and go beyond - MSC/Circ. 623/Rev. 3 guidelines and MARSEC 104-6 requirements.

Illegal ship-breaking investigation
We investigated the connection between terrorist network funding and illegal ship-breaking in a major Indian yard. The vessel had been towed secretly without permission from the U.S. in violation of international environmental regulations. One of the biggest concerns for the scrapping of older ships is to ensure that hazardous materials, particularly asbestos, are disposed of in a legal and environmentally safe way.
